As AI technology continues to mature and expand its application scenarios, the human resources service industry is also being influenced by AI.

On October 11th, the fourth quarter of the 2024 Meiyuan Debate event, themed "Disruption or Innovation - Exploring the Impact of AI on the Human Resources Service Industry," was held in Jing'an, Shanghai, to discuss the changes AI has brought to the development of the human resources service industry.

AI recruitment is efficient, economical, and accurate. It is understood that the application of AI technology in the human resources service industry is first reflected in the recruitment and headhunting fields. For example, by inputting the conditions and quantity needed for a specific position in a particular program, AI technology can match suitable talents in a very short time. AI can not only screen resumes and match job requirements more accurately but also evaluate interviews and recommend the most suitable candidates. This not only improves recruitment efficiency and reduces labor costs but also provides enterprises with more accurate talent matching services.

CGL founder and CEO Zhuang Hua said at the event that traditional recruitment models are usually based on standardized replication, ignoring the "thousand faces of a thousand people" for each candidate. In the combination of service delivery scenarios and AI, CGL Group has explored with several AI partners and achieved good practice in discussing three modes: Embedding, Copilot, and Agent. Currently, the company's time efficiency in finding suitable candidates through AI and recommending them to employers has increased by 30 times compared to manual searches, with a person-job matching rate as high as 94%, and the overall efficiency of headhunters has increased by nearly 7.2 times.

Zhuang Hua believes that in the future, AI Agents may not only disrupt traditional recruitment models but also lead the entire industry towards a more intelligent and personalized development direction, achieving "mass customization."

Industry digitalization and intelligence become the new normal. The introduction of AI technology, on the one hand, has given birth to new services and service models, and on the other hand, it has promoted the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of the human resources service industry itself.

At the event that day, several human resources service organizations introduced their digital transformation experiences.Since winning the Special Prize in the Growth Group of the National Human Resources Service Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2023, Yunsheng Group has continuously accelerated its digital transformation process. In the newly announced list of Shanghai's generative artificial intelligence service records, Yunsheng Group has successfully been selected, becoming one of the 38 generative artificial intelligence services in Shanghai. The integrated human resources service management platform, Ruizhi System, upgraded and launched by Renrui Talent in 2023, manages the recruitment of tens of thousands of people in an orderly manner every year, realizes the management of the entry, transfer, adjustment, and departure of tens of thousands of employees, and significantly improves its operational efficiency.

In addition, technologies such as intelligent integrated HR systems, AI digital employees, and HR robots continue to emerge, promoting innovation and development in the human resources service industry.

Building a Human Resources AI Industry Cluster

As the location of the first national human resources service industrial park, Jing'an District has always actively embraced changes and promoted the digital transformation of the human resources service industry. Currently, there are more than 400 human resources service institutions in the park, and advanced technologies such as cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence are widely applied in the park. There are 19 high-tech enterprises and 10 Shanghai specialized and new small and medium-sized enterprises in the district, highlighting the technological innovation capabilities and professional level of the human resources service industry.

Although the application of AI has disrupted the industry landscape and rules, the opportunities far outweigh the challenges.

Cheng Beilei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Shanghai Jing'an District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, said that the human resources service industry, as a productive service industry that provides employment and career planning for workers and human resource development and management for employers, needs to go with the trend and ride the momentum, using AI technology to empower the entire industry. Next, Jing'an District will introduce relevant human resources service industry policies, continue to encourage technological innovation in human resources service institutions, strengthen the digital training of industry talents, promote the digital transformation of the human resources industry, and promote talent mobility, help enterprises develop steadily, and empower new quality productivity.
